OVERWATCH 2

Our Overwatch Roster is one of the two founding games that helped establish Northwood University as a leader in the collegiate esports space. First appearing in 2020, the team took its first major win in the 2020 HUE Invitational, a pre-season event featuring other top programs in the space. Further displaying the team’s excellence after making multiple grand finals appearances, they finally claimed their first national championship in 2021 Fall season of the Overwatch Collegiate Championship Series. This team also helped create program history, as the team’s flex support, Landon “Landon” McGee became the first player from the Northwood Espots Program to sign a professional esports contract. These achievements highlight Northwood’s commitment to excellence and its position as a leader in the collegiate esports space.
