Player Success & Recruiting Coordinator Paxton Ambrose

has been in the esports industry for thirteen years as a coach, competitor, event coordinator and more. What started as a passed-down passion for Halo: Combat Evolved from his father blossomed into a drive to create esports opportunities for all. Coupled with a passion for motorsports, at a young age, he created an international racing community of over 400 members, which hosted multiple competitive racing leagues. In 2015, he discovered a free PlayStation game called Rocket League, which turned into a competitive drive unmatched by those around him. This evolved into aspirations to compete in Collegiate Rocket League, where he supported the first collegiate esports dynasty in bringing home multiple championships. A decade after acquiring the game, he is proud to be the founder of the MCS (Midwest Championship Series). A localized Rocket League championship series with opportunities for all skill levels, city-based franchises, and in-person LAN finales. After growing the MCS community to over 1000 members, he set his sights on joining Northwood University to embrace a meant-to-be esports career.
