SUPER SMASH BROS

Established in the fall semester of 2021, Northwood Smash immediately found success. The team went undefeated for the season and then won the NACE national championships in Philadelphia. Since then, Northwood has earned many championship wins, tournament wins, and more. Northwood Smash is well known for low tier characters being able to perform despite not being meta. King K. Rool, Kirby, Wii Fit Trainer, and more. On an individual level, players also find success in 1v1 tournaments in addition to crew battles. Jessie “JeJaJeJa” Valdez-Vallejo recently made history by winning a B-tier event with Kirby. Since Smash’s release in 1999, this is the largest tournament ever won by the character. Today, Northwood continues to find success and is looking forward to being a top threat in collegiate smash.
