Director Jacob R. Jacob

has been in the esports industry for thirteen years as a coach, competitor, event coordinator and more. He started with League of Legends in 2012, competing and managing a team for various amateur leagues. He then moved on to running tournaments for Smash Bros. After nearly 200 events, he brought his expertise to the Northwood Esports Program in 2021 to support the huge success of Northwood Esports. Utilizing Northwood’s esports arena has allowed Jacob to coordinate dozens of tournaments. Bringing attention to the opportunities Northwood has to offer, Jacob has helped grow the already-thriving program.

Communications Director Aden Frosch

has been in the esports industry for eight years as a player, manager, content coordinator and community manager. Originally an Overwatch player, he was introduced to the collegiate esports space in 2019 as the captain of his previous university’s Overwatch team. In 2021, Frosch transferred to Northwood University to complete his undergraduate degree. He has played a vital part in the program’s success as a student leader, helping Northwood Overwatch earn consecutive national championships. By combining both his professional experience and strong understanding of the collegiate esports space, Frosch has helped push Northwood’s program forward.
