HUEFEST – SEPTEMBER 2020

The Northwood University Esports team took the number one spot in the Annual Harrisburg University Esports (HUE) Invitational! As one of 32 teams in the national Overwatch league, Northwood brought home the title of 2020 HUE Champions, defeating Maryville in the finals with a 3-2 win!   Along the way, Northwood defeated universities across the country including UCLA and Fresno State.

Heading into the weekend Northwood was considered an unknown college in the Varsity Esports scene. This win was a statement win for the program and put Northwood on the map. The Varsity overwatch team looks forward to a successful fall season!
